Soldered Charms and Found Objects

This is a great class for all levels. You will learn basic soldering, how to cut class down to size, and attach jump rings to create charms.
All these techniques combined will allow you the ability to create your own unique ornaments. This project is perfect for gift giving, hand me down ornaments, and a great way to personalize your tree. Instructor will supply images for both parts of the ornament.

Your kit for this class will be packed with die cuts, rub-ons, canvas patches, ribbons & lace, and many found objects & ephemera~including vintage game pieces and of course "BLING"! This album has many pockets for love notes collected along the way or for tucking secret notes in if you will be giving it to that special someone. There is a TON of room for photos, quotes, poems, or special little messages, and journaling. In class you will be learning techniques using Tim Holtz masks and even the sewing machine in a few places {but not to worry if you hate sewing adhesive works great!}. Hope to see you in class for a fun day of play and creating!

Description of workshop: This is a great class for those of you who have already dipped your iron into the basics of soldering. This is a great way to display family photos. Each house can be home to different generations of your family or makes the perfect showcase for pets. You will learn how to cut glass, solder dimensional pieces, and patina the solder. You will also learn how to tack solder pieces together to create larger dimensional works of art. The techniques you learn in this class can be applied to numerous projects. The images you choose for your house will tell your own personal story. This is both a process and project workshop with the emphasis being on soldering techniques. Instructor will supply images all images for workshop.
*Pre requisite: To at least have taken one of my soldering classes.
